Judge’s Critique:

PGD 2(1)
1.Pavitt/Whitehead’s Foxriever Fire Cracker (AI). Not happy here today, not settled on the stand, he has substance and depth to his build, good jacket, moved out and back but lacked drive.

LD 6(1)
1.Stephens’ Brightmeadow Rumour Has It JW. 1 & 2 close up, preferred overall balance of 1, good head shape, straight forelegs, good feet, deep chest to elbow, strong muscular neck into strong level top-line, correct feel to coat, moved out well with extension, RDCC.
2.Clack/Batlle-Hunter/Eddery’s Krisbos Leonidas with Molokain JW (IKC). Handsome chap turned out in tip top condition, balanced wedge shape head, well sprung in rib of good length and depth, close in rear movement.
3.Barber’s Tonispada Vuori Vincent by Blanshard SGWC.

OD 5(1)
1.Barber’s Sh Ch. Foxriever Picture Perfect for Blanshard. Laid down in tip top condition, a picture on the stand, well up on size, mature male, built on strong frame, head of correct shape, strong neck into well laid shoulder, level top-line leads into a muscular rear which he used in his correct movement, with correct feel to coat, DCC & BV.
2.Tarelli’s Firecurl Some Like It Hot at Tarockwood (AI). Balanced on the stand, head of correct shape, good depth of chest to elbow, straight well boned legs, ribbed well back to short loin, out-moved by 1 today.
3.Hodson’s Sh Ch. Rowancurl Gentle Gaelor.

VD 1(0)
1.Tarelli’s Hunters Pride Jurajska Gwiazda at Tarockwood (imp POL). Head of different shape on the stand, presented a balanced outline, good body proportions from side on but wide in front which showed in his movement.

1. Mercer/Thomas’ Crimwell Trouble Maker at Stormacre. 2 quality youngsters here. Feminine with substance, quality young bitch with no exaggerations, she filled my eye, hands on she didn’t disappoint and wore a jacket of tight crisp curls, her head was the correct shape both in profile and straight on, muscular neck into well laid shoulders, level top-line through to a strong rear with correct tail set, on the move she had a positive gait and correct footfall, BCC & BOB.
2.Spraggins’ Tusepo Miss Scarlett. A lot of the same comments apply but this bitch needs to fulfil her promise, she has all the correct breed qualities at this time just needs maturity.

PGB 3(0)
1.Cummings’ Maycourt Island Girl for Breichside JW. A lot to like here, balanced outline on the stack with a strong frame of correct bone and a head of good proportions, holds her top-line well, in correct jacket, tad close in rear on the move.
2.Clayton’s Firecurl Ace. Up on leg compared to 1, lighter in frame, pleasing head and eye, shorter cast in rib which resulted in her longer couplings, like 1 rear movement not the best.
3.Spraggins’ Tusepo Miss Scarlett.

LB 3(1)
1.Clack/Eddery’s Epsilon Adhara at Molokain JW. Neat package but overall shape was correct despite size, pleasing correct head and oval eye, holds top-line well, coat of correct touch, would prefer more drive on the move.
2.Gill/Peake’s Ravenho Midnight Miracle at Saxonholme. Close up to 1, handler let this girl down today, good balance and breed type throughout, would have liked more positive footfall and drive.

1.Stephens’ Sh Ch. Ravenho Up Town Girl for Brightmeadow JW. 1 & 2 close up here, felt 1 had the edge on overall balance and breed type, both too proud of their tails though, on the stack 1 had the better presence today on the stack and presented a better balanced outline, she has the best of heads, a strong frame with no exaggerations, in good jacket of tight curls, strong top-line into well made rear quarters as was unfortunately the pattern throughout the day, close in rear action, RBCC.
2.Clack/Eddery’s Sh Ch. Molokain Hocus Pocus. Presented in super coat and condition, strong frame with good front assembly and well tucked elbow, good depth throughout, a tad apprehensive so not giving her all, quality bitch nonetheless, again would like more effort on her movement.
3.Stephens’ Brightmeadow Who’s That Girl.

VB 2(0)
1.Cummings’ Molokain Enchanted One. Up on size bitch, not in the room today, pleasing head shape and profile, strong neck into strong top-line, in good jacket, yet again reluctant to move.
2.Clayton’s Firecurl Georgie Porgie. Different outline to 1, shorter in back which resulted in longer couplings, between coats at the moment so lacking the sparkle today.
