Curly Coated Retriever Breed Celebration Lunch, The Kennel Club, London

Wednesday 5th June 2019            Tickets are still available direct from the Kennel Club

We have been very lucky with Brenda Hutchison’s help, to organise a date for our own Curly Breed Celebration Lunch at The Kennel Club.

This day will be open to all who wish to attend. There is a limit of 60 people.

Details Taken from The Kennel Club:

Breed Celebration Lunches
With the success of our Breed Celebration lunches and feedback from our members, we are delighted to announce newly confirmed dates and invite you and your friends to attend. You are welcome whether this is your breed or you are interested in attending lunch for another breed on the list.
At the same time we are introducing ‘activity’ lunches as a number of people in the non- breed related disciplines such as obedience, field trials and agility, have asked for this.
We are keen to celebrate as many of our members’ breeds and activities as possible. If you have date (s) in mind to hold your breed/activity lunch, please let us know and we will check availability. We very much look forward to hearing from you for what we hope will be a very pleasurable event celebrating our fabulous dogs.

The schedule for the day will be
11:30 Tea/coffee upon arrival at the Kennel Club, Clarges Street, London, W1J 8AB
11:45 Library talk/Gallery tour – tailored to the respective breed or activity
12.30 Pre-lunch drink in the bar

Venue Oswestry Showground, Shropshire.

Schedules can be found at

Game Fairs and Country Shows.

Breed Representation

We have the opportunity to represent the breeds at a number of game fairs / country shows. For those of you that have seen discover dogs then it is a similar format: a pen for the dogs and an area for to display information. There is also usually at least one parade a day in a ring. As with Discover Dogs it is the opportunity for us to share our breed with the general public. It is not necessary for you to work your dogs as most visitors are more interested in dogs as pets.
Entry and car park passes are provide and if you wish to camp or caravan then a [itch will be provided.
If you have been a member of the club for at least two years and want more info then please e-mail Nigel Spraggins
