Sunday at the Game Fair saw the first Minority Breeds Team Challenge. Four teams took part in the Retriever Test, Curly Coated Retrievers, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Irish Water Spaniels, and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers. The tests were set and the dogs and handlers were put through their paces with marked retrieves, memories, blinds, and jumps, all in front of a grandstand of spectators and a live commentary….

The Curly Team was made up of Heather Driscoll & Beau – Fleetpaw One For Arthur At HisRiver, Nick Eden & Megan – Kandrelli Eleonora’s Falcon, and Steve Davies & Rain – Springcurl Purplerain JW.

The CCR Team achieved a very respectable score of 215, only 10 points behind 3rd place. Really well done, we are all so very proud of you! With thanks to Sue Margerison and CCRC Working Co-ordinator, Lesley Eden.

Huge thanks to Judy Hempstead of the Working Minority Retriever Club.
