The entries have been announced for Driffield Champ Show, this year at it’s new venue, Staffordshire County Showground, 20 Dogs, making 21 Entries for Breed Specialist Judge, Wendy Tarelli.
City of Birmingham Championship Show, 6 September 2026
The entries have been announced for the City of Birmingham Champ Show at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, 34 Dogs, making 34 Entries for Breed Judge, Mr R Strudwick.
Show Certificate of Excellence
Huge Congratulations to Maggie & Jerry Stephens – two of their gang have gained there Show Certificate of Excellence. Their GSD Rooster, and their Curly Tyson, who will now be known as Brightmeadow Rumour Has It (JW)(SHCEX)(OSW)
North East Dog Festival
It’s been the North East Dog Festival this weekend at Kirkley Hall in Northumberland – The Regions Ultimate Celebration of Dogs.
Jo & Brett Clayton were there on Saturday with Clover & Sorrel.
Nikki Dick was there on Sunday with Arthur and Brian the Lab, she told us, ‘Lovely day at the North East Dog Festival today. It was boys day out. They enjoyed the scurry, water retriever, fastest recall, temptation alley Northumberland dog rescue dog show, and loads more. It was lovely to catch up with everyone and celebrate everything dog.’
Show Curly – Local Show
Forrest (Ravenho Looks Like Trouble For Brightmeadow), Ian Rawson & Annette Dimond, have been at a Local Show in aid of a local shelter St Giles. Forrest won first prize in the Big Dog Class

1st Cummings Molokain Enchanted one –female of 7 years showing a lovely wedge to her head, typical for this breed, correct eye shape and colour, small ears well set on, neck nicely arched which flowed into her well laid shoulders, good deep chest, well sprung ribs leading to nice tuck up, rear quarters powerful with nice turn to stifle and well let down hocks, moved very well.B.O.B.
2nd Bain’s Crimblescurl Time to Tango at Wenichones JW – another lovely female of 5 years, 1& 2 in this class were very close so my comments are the same except preferred the rear angulation and movement on 1.
