Curly Comms

Week Ending: 20/10/2024

Curly Conversations with Tiina Illukka….

1. If you could have mated ANY dog to ANY bitch past or present who would you choose and why? – I would choose Ch Blazeaway Bowser to Caballus Rustic Go-Go Girl. This is to acchieve best movement – temperament – bone and coat.

2. Black or Liver? – Black

3. If you could bring back any dog/bitch who would you choose and why? – Caballus Electra. A super bitch in all aspects. Lived a healthy and long life, won the world winner titles 8 years apart also the Curly World Seminar Show. Produced some high quality dogs.

4. What is your proudest Curly Moment? – There are many, personally it was an honour to judge the World Seminar Show in UK, which was the BCCRC Club CC Show as well. Teddy’s BOB at Crufts was a top acchievement.

5. Favourite Animal film? Or TV series? – Hachiko – a true story of faith devotion and undying love.

6. Who was your first curly? Name and Pedigree? – Darelyn Tamara (D Rifleman x D Pollyanna)

7. How did you choose your affix? – Caballus, latin name for horse, came from my first breed, dalmatian 1969.

8. Favourite regional meal? – Karelian pasty with egg butter

9. What would you get up to if you were invisible for a day? –

10. Which other breed would you love to own? – I have had Dalmatians, Gordon Setters and Jack Russell terriers, so I know that the Curly is the right breed for me, no need to test anything more.

11. What is your favourite Curly Name? – right now: Jumbo (Caballus Waltzing Jumbuck)

Thank you so much Tiina for answering our questions

Medium neck good spread of rib and deep chest, nice straight forelegs with nice tight feet. Short powerful loin, moved well with drive and a good quality coat.
2 Courtier Miss DM Maycourt Cover Shot. Another good looking bitch when in profile, lovely feminine head good shaped eye, and small neat ears. Muscular neck good chest oval in shape. Good strong loin well shaped rear with a moderate bend of stifle. Coat not in the best condition which was the difference for placings.
