Curly Coated Retriever Club Fun Day, 9 July 2023
Don’t forget the Curly Fun Day on the 9 July 2023, 10am til 3pm.
All Curly enthusiasts welcome! Come along and join in the fun….
There will be lots of activities including an Introduction to Gundog Training ran by Heather Barber. A Scurry, a Grooming Demo by Jill Stubbs, and an Introduction to Rally ran by Anne Russell. There will be a Tombola and a Raffle.
There will also be a Fun Curly Olympics… this will incorporate all the silly games such as catch the biscuit, balance a sausage on your nose, the longest stay, the best heelwork, the fastest retrieve, the waggiest tail….
Oh & there’ll also be some games for the dogs…..
Camping is available at the showground, on the Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. We’re hoping to have social evenings & hope those staying will join in with a Fish & Chips night and a Barbeque night.
We hope you’ll get involved and enjoy a lovely social weekend.

It was a very hot day at the Malvern Showground, but the dog showing crowd are a tough bunch….
Breed specialist judge Su Carlin found her Best Of Breed in Helen Hodson’s Rowancurl Gentle Gaelor.

Judith Rule & Luther, Just The Ticket Jurajska Gwiazda At Overbore, were at Gorefield Show with the Ronnie sheep. Judith told us that Luther had a great day, he certainly loves ice cream. They also met a gentleman who previously had a black curly, and got a little emotional when he saw Luther.
The love of a Curly will certainly do that to you….
