The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme
Huge Congratulations to Gill Flaher and Zak (Tessmene Red Rum By Kagemusha) on passing the Kennel Club Good Citizen Gold Award. Gill was so pleased with Zak, as he’s still only 16 months old.
Paignton Rally
Rachel Jack & Gunner – Maycourt I’m Still Standing, have been at Paignton & District Fanciers Association Open Rally Competition. Rachel say, ‘Good day at Paignton rally obedience. Gunner 6th place in level one with an excellent score of 201. Then in level 2 another excellent score of 192. This means he’s got three excellent scores in level 1&2, so he’s now onto level 3‘

Royal Kennel Club Post – Dog Health & Breeder News
The University of Glasgow is looking for support with a research project exploring advanced sperm function and DNA integrity in dogs, with the aim of improving our understanding of canine fertility and reproductive health.
The study will investigate whether more detailed assessments of sperm quality can help identify hidden fertility issues, better predict pregnancy outcomes, and support evidence-based breeding decisions that promote long-term breed health and welfare.
The research team is seeking support from breed clubs, breeders, and owners through the sharing of breeding records, access to stud dogs, assistance with sample collection, and participation in breed-specific analyses.

1 Mercer & Thomas Crimwell Trouble Maker At Stormacre – 15mth bitch very good shape in profile and a lovely size. Good wedge shaped head in all directions. Good neck flowing into well set shoulders. Lovely spring of rib and excellent level of bone moved with drive, BOB
2 Spraggins Tusepo Miss Scarlett – 14mth bitch with a lovely soft expressive face, well sprung ribs lovely short powerful loin and good angulation in rear. I did like her a lot and only lost to 1st on level of maturity will be interesting to see her when she does mature.

1 McKenzie Ravenho Toulouse Latresco At Beddgelert – 4yr old Bitch with a well proportioned head good colour to eye, well set shoulders good depth to chest and excellent top line. Moved with purpose around the ring.

1 Moskowitz Ravenho Mochara Cadeaux – A well made bitch with a lovely profile everything in proportion. Head well shaped ears at correct level, good length to neck and well set shoulders. Good top line correct rear angulation moved well around the ring. RBOB

Open – 3 entries, 1 absentee
1st Cummings’ MOLOKAIN ENCHANTED ONE – 7 year old bitch. Taller framed and more feminine all through than 2nd. Beautiful head with lovely expression. Super reach of neck, clean into shoulders and good topline. Good forechest with deep brisket. Well bodied, muscled loin. Enough angulation fore and aft. Clean hocks. Well-muscled thighs. Moved true with good co-ordination, but lacking enthusiasm on the move in the breed class today. Moved much better in the group with another handler to run.
2nd Cummings’ MAYCOURT ISLAND GIRL FOR BREICHSIDE JW – Younger bitch at 19 months. Lovely head and skull, but preferred the feminine finish to muzzle on 1st. Smaller in frame. Preferred her forehand, super layback of shoulder with good forechest. Broader all though. Well sprung over ribs, with good depth, strong loin and well angled muscled quarters. Well boned with neat feet. Shown in upper coat. Not so co-ordinated on the move today.
