Activities

Fun Dog Show
Aly Clayton and Jacques – Violeta Borboleta Jacques Du Moulin Du Paulu, have been attending a fun dog show in aid of raising money for a local dog rescue. Aly told us,
It was a lovely day to get out to a different type of dog show, Jacques took it all in his stride being around so many different breeds as well as educating and being such a good ambassador for the breed. He came away with a 3rd in the most handsome dog class and 2nd in the perfect pedigree class just behind a lovely Welsh springer.
The most important thing was he won some treats and had a lovely day. Although not a fan of me putting rosettes on his collar.
Hats off to the judge, a fun dog show is very different to a normal dog show!

Gundog Training – Water Training, 30 May 2025
Elaine Woodford and Forrest – Foxriever Storm Cloud, attended a water training day with Craiwarn Gundogs at a training ground in Thame on Friday 30th May.
They had lots of exercises which included working on steadiness, Elaine said “It was a great training day but hard work! Forrest was very keen on getting into the water so I had to make sure he didn’t go in and retrieve someone else’s dummy.” She said the ground was purpose built with lots of land and even low boxes to help teach going over obstacles.

Well done Forrest and Elaine! It’s great to hear your stories!

KC Good Citizen Award Achievements
Congratulations to Adam Kear & Maple – Foxriever Infinite Spirit (ai), on passing the Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award, at just 7 and a half months old….. Well done Maple!!
