1 Mistlins’ Maycourt Starman By Crookwood ShCm lovely strength and tone to this 9 year old well styled with correct curl to this liver coated male of correct size with overall balance. Strong masculine clean wedge shaped head, small well set ears, dark brown eyes, strong jaw. Strong clean moderate neck into well laid shoulders. Deep chest with straight well boned legs and tight compact feet. A firm topline over a deep body well ribbed back into a strong loin. Strong hindquarters and moderate return of stifle and strong hocks. Powerful gait with reach and drive.

1 Finch’ Molokain Doing The Do At Cetgueli nicely put together 14 months old who is developing so well and has good tone. A well developed masculine head of correct shape and well coated, would like a little more stop, lovely dark expressive eyes. Holds his head well on clean strong moderate neck into well laid shoulders, firm backline to a well held tail. Beautiful tight curl to his correctly presented black coat over a well developed body with ribs well back into a strong loin. Well angled front and rear with strength to his chest and well boned straight legs and tight round feet. Hindquarters with strength, return of stifle and strong hocks. Good powerful forward action and rear drive just a little close.

1 Stubbs’ Brightmeadow Take Your Time At Densdale Lovely breed type of correct size and outline. Stylish head of typical wedge shape, dark alert eyes, well set and hung ears. Clean throat to his strong neck set well into shoulders and firm level backline, over his well developed body with ribs well back into a strong loin, good depth and substance. Super tight black curl covers his body. Well angled front and rear with depth to his chest, straight boned forelegs and tight feet. Muscular hindquarters with good return of stifle. Very stylish mover with a good front action and side stride, rear action is a little close behind.

1 Stephens’ Sh Ch Brightmeadow Never Say Die JW ShCM I have never had the opportunity to judge this fabulous dog within the breed against others of his type although I have judged him in variety classes, today it was an opportunity I was looking forward to and realize how good this boy really is. On saying that some of the stock he has sired were all in the top placings so he is proving himself within the breed. Very impressive on the stack and covers the ground well, works well with his owner/hander. Is certainly a powerful looking dog with a lovely masculine well shaped head nicely coated skull, well set and hung ears, dark expressive eyes, strong jaw. Moderate clean strong neck into well set shoulders firm backline to tail. Lovely deep ribbed back body with substance covered with tight small black curls. Deep chest with straight well boned forelegs and compact feet. Powerful free mover with an excellent reach and drive. DCC & BOB Lovely to see him shortlisted in the strong Gundog Group.
2 Edworthys’ Maycourt Heartbeaker. Very stylish nicely constructed upstanding masculine dog with a lovely outline. Super strength to his correctly shaped head with dark eyes and alert expression. Head held proudly on strong slightly arched clean throat and neck into well placed shoulders and a strong firm level back to a good rump and tail. Well angled forequarters, strongly boned legs and tight arched feet. Deep chest, well sprung back ribs into strong short loin. Muscular hindquarters with good return of stifle. Super tight black curls cover his body with a good undercoat. Stylish mover once he breaks out of his pacing action. Very effortless with reach and drive. RCC

1 Courtiers’ Maycourt Take Me To The Top, two very smart feminine babies and litter sisters too. I much preferred the outline of my winner she was also more mature in her body and substance and with this, she did have better coat density and tighter curl to her lovely black coat. Very attractive well shaped head, dark expressive large eyes good neck and shoulders with a firm backline over a body with substance, nice boned legs and tight feet, super little mover with good reach and drive and very settled action.
2 Courtiers’ Maycourt Cover Shot. Lovely to see a Liver coated baby although nicely curled not as crisp as her sisters coat. Sweet well worked and wedge shaped head, small ears, dark expressive large eyes. Strong neck to shoulders with nice angles. Firm level backline to a nice tail. Good angulation enough depth but I would have liked more substance just lacking a little. Moved out fairly well her rear movement was not as positive but her front action was sound.

1 Stephens’ Ravenho Up Town Girl For Brightmeadow very impressive on the stance with a lovely elegant outline and an air of importance and confidence. A very feminine balanced head of correct shape with well set small ears, and large dark open eyes with a nice kind look. Well angulated front and rear of a nicely developing deep body with enough substance for her age. Ribs well sprung back into a strong loin with slight tuck. Beautifully presented and conditioned black coat with tight curls all over. Super straight strongly boned legs and tight feet with a lovely free stride and sound coming and going.

1 Evans’ Rowancurl Beachcomber Lovely free stance with an overall nice elegant outline. Very feminine look to her dark well worked head, with dark alert eyes. Slightly arched clean throat on good length of neck, nice shoulders, firm backline and good rump and tail. Super well angulated body with depth to chest and brisket, having a good weight, well ribbed back and nice tuck to her loin. Presented well in lovely coat condition with tight black curls all over. Straight boned legs tight arched feet, a sound very free elegant mover with sound action.
2 Parker-Miles’ Overbore’s Ace Of Hearts. Is another of good type with a nice outline on the stance. Sweet worked feminine wedge shaped head, nice small ears well set, dark alert eyes of good shape. She holds her head well on a good neck but for me is just lacking in length and is a little too throaty. Nicely laid shoulders angled to her upper arm with depth to her chest and brisket. Nice body, ribbed back covered in tight black curls in lovely condition and presentation. Moved out freely with a good stride and so well handled to get the best from her, just a little too close a rear foot.

1 Courtiers’ Maycourt Stairway To Heaven JW Very stylish on the stack and nice to go over. Her body is well coated but to be critical I would like her liver coat to have tighter curls. Stronger but very feminine head, well set small ears and a bright look to her dark rimmed eyes. Good length of neck into laid shoulders and a firm backline to a correctly set tail. Angulated front with good depth to chest, with a lovely substance to her body that was well ribbed back with a slight tuck. Muscular hindquarters with strong thighs and let down hocks. Very well boned legs with tight feet, very sound free powerful mover. BCC BOS.
2 Evans’ Kukkasen Kelta By Caballus (Imp Fin) A nice feminine head lacking a little in strength and a good wedge shape. I would like a better set to her ears. Good eye colour. Nice neck length to shoulders into a firm backline and set tail over a substantial body with depth and well ribbed back, with strong thighs well muscled. Has balanced and boned legs with tight arched feet. Attractive Liver coat with tight curls all over. Strong free mover with reach and drive just a little close behind.
