Judge’s Critique

I thoroughly enjoyed judging your breed with CCs for the first time. I thought the quality was very good, and watching the BOB win his first group was a bonus.
PD (2) 1 Clayton’s Lizallwood Mr Bojangles. Very promising pup. Has a masculine head, enough neck. Fairly well laid shoulder. Better feet and pastern than second. Well sprung rib to firm loin, and a level topline. Enough turn of stifle with low hocks. Very good hind action, can firm in front. Decent stride. Liked him a lot. BP & RCC. 2 Stubbs’ Brightmeadow Take Your Time At Densdale. Another promising pup. Has a very good outline. Liked his head. Lengthy neck. He needs more angulation but is very well balanced, and this was reflected in his length of stride. Not as good going away as first and he too can firm in front.
PGD (2) 1 Tarelli & Tarelli’s Firecurl Some Like It Hot At Tarockwood (ai). Good honest sort of d who is a very sound mover. Well proportioned head. Strong neck. Quite a good shoulder with slightly more fill of chest than second. Well ribbed back. Holds a level topline.Well muscled rear. 2 Hawley-Clarke’s Karnawalowy Drink Z Basisfory TAF. Strong looking d, maybe slightly heavy in body. Head is masculine, could have a cleaner throat. Sthong neck. Well ribbed back with a deep chest. Rear matches his front.
LD (3) 1 Barber’s Foxriever Picture Perfect For Blanshard. Best mover in class. Has a lengthy, wedge head. Would prefer a little more neck. Well filled front. Good spring of rib with firm loin. Holds a level topline. Enough turn of stifle with low hocks. 2 Bett’s Infallibles Black Crusader At Kelsmere. Well proportioned d who didn’t really want to go. He has a good head. Could have a bit more neck. Well ribbed. Firm in topline. Well balanced in his angulation. 3 Tarelli & Tarelli’s Hunters Pride Jurajska Gwiazda At Tarockwood.
OD (2) 1 Stephens’ Sh Ch Brightmeadow Never Say Die JW ShCM. Shapely d. Masculine wedge head. Could be cleaner in throat. Lengthy neck into a well laid shoulder. Well filled front. Deep chest. Well spring ribs. Firm in topline. Well made rear. Accurate on the move with a decent stride. CC & BOB. 2 Johnstone & Stokes’ Sh Ch Talismanic Bag Of Tricks. Not the most co-operative today. Liked his proportions. Has a very good head. He has a lengthy neck, deep chest. Not the rear of first but a v typy dog.
PB (2) 1 Bain & Bain’s Crimblescurl Time To Tango. Shapely pup, just needs to gain a bit more width as she matures. Feminine, wedge head. Lengthy neck. Well ribbed back. Holds a firm topline. Moderate hind angulation. She is an easy mover. 2 Stephens’ Brightmeadow Take One Look. Smaller b with good substance. Feminine, fear she has a strong neck. Slightly forward in shoulder. Well sprung ribs. Moderate rear. Rather long at the moment.
JB (2, 1) 1 Mercer & Thomas’ Foxriever Flawless Flame Of Stormacre. Well balanced outline. She has a feminine head, well set eyes. Lengthy neck. She is forward in shoulder and could have more fill of chest. Well sprung ribs. Level topline. Well bent stifle and low hocks and uses her rear very well.
PGB (6) 1 Spraggins & Spraggins’ Tusepo Amazing Love. Strong and typy b, when not bouncing she went with a very easy stride. She has a feminine head. Enough neck. Well laid shoulder. More fill of chest than second. Deep chest. Holds a level topline. Moderate rear. Accurate out and back. 2 Eden’s Roughyeds Minnie Caldwell. Liked her outline, can still develop in chest. Wedge head. Enough neck. Her angulation is balanced but moderate, which gave an easy stride. Level topline. 3 Dick’s Crimblescurl Beech.
LB (6, 1) Quite an even class and a few rather bouncy. 1 Stephens’ Brightmeadow Who’s That Girl. Feminine b with right amount of substance, could just be slightly longer in leg. Liked her head. Enough neck. Slightly forward in shoulder. Super body. Level topline. She has a strong, well made rear which she uses so well. 2 Mercer & Thomas’ Stormacre Marguerita Time. Lots to like about her. Wedge head, could be cleaner in throat. Lengthy neck. Slightly forward in shoulder. She could have slightly less body. Level topline. Well bent rear with low hocks. Not helping handler on the move when it mattered. 3 Margerison & Davies’ Infallibles Black Velvet At Kandrelli.
OB (4) 1 James’ Sh Ch Kahawei Teal JW. She looks super in profile action, holding her very good outline with a long and easy stride. Wedge head. Strong neck. Quite a good shoulder, She could have more slope to pastern. Deep chest. Well ribbed back and holds a level topline. Very good rear, used so well. CC. 2 Spraggins & Spraggins’ Maycourt Hot Love At Tusepo. Liked this very typy b very much. She has a very good head. Strong and lengthy neck. Could have more fill of chest. Deep and well ribbed. Holds a level topline. Could have just a bit more hind angulation. RCC. 3 Todd, Batlie & Batlie Hunter’s Jeweller’s Pride Jurajska Gwiazda (Imp Pol).
