Shirley Buchanan and May, Fleetpaw First Lady, have had a successful weekend as May passed her Scentwork UK Level 3, having achieved 80 points. Shirley said, ‘Have been unable to do much at all with the dogs and this was a last minute decision to attempt out first level 3 Scentwork UK Trial with May, and I was amazed that we got a qualifying score, she struggled with the outdoor searches but was so proud of her managing to find 6 out of 8 hides, the 2 we missed were both outdoors but considering we haven’t really done any training she did me proud, well done May‘

Liked the shape of this liver bitch when she entered the ring, good head shape, with correct wedge shape, strong neck and well laid in shoulders, good shape to body which is in correct proportions for her 20 mths, found her in good coat, liked her drive behind on the move. RBOB
2.Harris: Brightmeadow Wish Come True at Dreamcurl. B. Still a baby, Pleasing shape and size for her age, still needs to strengthen behind, in good coat, just not as mature as 1 on the move. BP
3.Edworthy: Brightmeadow Man of Steel. D.

B. 22mth old bitch of a good shape and correct shape, good head shape, strong slightly arched neck and correct through shoulder and front, strong ribs and good topline, in correct coat, liked her angles behind, good movement showing straight lines both to and from BOB
2. Edworthy: Maycourt Heartbreaker. D. Larger male, good head, set on a strong neck, preferred front of 1, good rib and well muscled behind, just not the drive of 1 on the move today.

Immature young dog but shows plenty of promise, good head shape and neck, prominent forechest although this should soften as he develops, Good rib for age, good topline and nice short coupling, still needs to develop in his rear, but again still a baby, found him in good coat, moved well, straight and true to win the class and BP

3 Bain’s Crimblescurl Time To Tango At Wenichones excellent Curly bitch in super coat and going well at both ends. She is feminine but has enough bone and substance. Could be a little stronger in muzzle but she is a high quality example of the breed
