Vulnerable Native Breed Show, 6 October 2024
Judge: Christine Craik (Scobec)
Puppy (1)
1. Edworthy’s Brightmeadow Man of Steel. Giving his handler a hard time, either pacing or zig zagging, head in proportion to body size, neck strong into well laid shoulder, deep chest, brisket level with elbow, needs to strengthen in rear end yet, round tight feet, BP.
Junior (1)
1. Boorman’s Kahawei Star Catcher. Correct head, strong neck, deep brisket, well sprung rib, strong hind end, tight feet, coat tight crisp curls, moved out with drive.
Post Graduate (3)
1. Huckle’s Foxriever Storm Cloud. Well made dog, wedge shaped head, neat ears, strong neck into well laid shoulder, deep brisket, deep chest, powerful loin, crisp coat, moved out well with drive.
2. Richards/Flaher’s Tessmene Icing On The Cake by Kagemusha. Preferred head and rear end of 1, ears neat, chest deep, brisket well let down, straight forelegs, moved out well with drive and reach.
3. Green’s Ravenho Comradai Cymro.
Limit (2)
1. Sutton/Whitehead’s Foxriever Grey Ghost. Liked this dog a lot, strong upstanding elegant dog, wedged shaped head, small neat ears, neck strong, arched into well laid shoulder, deep brisket and body depth, level top-line, strong hind end, tail flows from top-line, correct coat of tight crisp curls, moved with reach and drive, a pleasure to go over, BOB.
2. Green’s Ravenho Comradai Cymro. Clean through shoulder, good depth of brisket, well ribbed, would prefer slightly longer body.
Open (2)
1. Edworthy’s Maycourt Heartbreaker. Strong upstanding dog, correct wedged shaped head, small neat ears, arched neck into well laid shoulder, deep chest and brisket, strong hind end, tail flows from top-line, correct stifle angulation, moved out well, RBOB.
2. Spraggins’ Tusep Amazing Love. Lacked motivation today, preferred rear end of 1, quite compact, would like more length in body, forelegs straight, strong pasterns, tight feet, correct turn of stifle.
