All You Need To Know About The Judges Education Programme (JEP) Online Seminar, 15 April 2025
Thanks to all those who attended our second online seminar last Tuesday evening. We had 31 people booked on to the event, and it was truly international with attendees from the USA, Finland, the Netherlands, France, and Ireland as well as those from the UK, and we have received some wonderful feedback. The seminar took place over Zoom and was expertly delivered by Jeff Horswell. Jeff awards Challenge Certificates in all 7 groups, judges 5 groups and Best In Show at Championship level, he is also a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer. We had a great evening which was very informative, Jeff was very engaging and was happy to take questions throughout the proceedings. We hope those who attended will agree that the whole JEP process is now much clearer, and we hope that everyone will feel confident to go on and fulfill the JEP requirements.

Thame Country Fair, 20 & 21 April 2025
We have had Curlies represented at Thame Country Fair at the showground in Oxfordshire. The team was made up of Rachel Arnold, James Dobson & Kopis, Beverley Snudden & Olive, Beth Spencer & Tolly, and also there, were Adam Kear, Alice Morrey & Maple.

Just a note about planned roadworks on the M8 which may affect your journey to The Royal Highland Showground – on the 13, 14, 15 & 16 May the eastbound M8 will be closed between Junctions 5 and 4A from 8.30 pm until 6 am.

Group 3, Clack, Clack, Batlle-Hunter, Eddery, Krisbos Leonidas With Molokain (IKC), Curly coated Retriever). Another smart individual of good merit. Correct proportions in head which is wedge shaped. Clear in eye which gives off an appealing expression. He is moderate in neck with parallel forelegs. Plenty in rib with level topline. He stands on good bone with neat feet. He displayed a free flowing stride on the out and back and held a pleasing profile on the go around. Yet again another that was well presented.
……a quartet of promising Gundog youngsters.

Forelegs straight with tight round feet, shoulders well laid back and muscular, chest deep and well sprung ribs, angulation correct front and rear, moved true front and rear.
