CCRC Winter Open Show & Limited Obedience, 2 November 2024
Not long now until the entries close for our 2024 CCRC Winter Open Show and Limited Obedience being held on Saturday 2 November 2024 at Tomlinson’s Canine Centre, Markfield, Leicester, LE67 9RJ. Entries can be made via Fossedata up until midnight on Sunday 20 October 2024.

CCR Club Calendar Competition 2025
Well the deadline has passed, and the photos have been shortlisted, so now it’s over to you to vote for your 12 favourites to go into the Curly Calendar for 2025.
We had a record amount of entries this year, so you have a record amount to choose from! And the entries this year are stunning! To vote go to the Curly Coated Retriever Club Facebook Page and ‘Like’ to ones you like. The 12 photos with the most ‘Likes’ will be in the calender.
Now we know not everyone has access to Facebook, so if there are members that would like to vote by email, please contact curlyclubshop@outlook.com and we will be happy to help!

The Working Curly
CCRC Gundog Training – Northern Hub, 12 October 2024.
Saturday was the CCRC Training Day with professional trainer Emma Stevens of Cunningshot Dog Training, at the Rockroyd Gundog Training Ground, Keighley.
The day was organised by CCRC Working Co-ordinator Heather Barber, and training on the day were Caron & Rita, Heather & Giles, Bea & Edgar, Nigel & Nornie, Shirley & May, Jeannette & Marion, and Jo, Clover & Sorrel.
Jo said, ‘Fabulous days training with the Curly Coated Retriever Club & Emma of Cunningshot gundogs at Rockroyd Training Ground, Clover & Sorrel had a great day & we learnt so much, as did I but great company & a crowd of Curlies made it a special day.‘
Jeannette said, ‘Thanks to all involved…. Marion surpassed my expectations and has really inspired me to do more training with her…‘
Nigel said, ‘Well what a day… All the dogs were great and Nornie learnt new skills.’
Well done everyone! Looks like it was a great day.
