Nigel Spraggins and Nornie – Sh Ch Maycourt Hot Love At Tusepo, have been do their thing at the Dock Diving Pool whilst staying at Chatsworth for the Country Fair. Nornie absolutely loves doing this and always gets a big cheer from the people watching…
The North East Dog Festival, 31 August & 1 September 2024
Shirley Buchanan and her girls have been out and about this weekend at The North East Dog Festival, at Kirkley Hall. She was helping another Curly owner, Nikki Dick, with her ‘Roo’s Journey Dog Show’ & celebrating Roo’s 10th Birthday. Shirley told us that she took May – Fleetpaw First Lady, on the Saturday, and Glory – Curlies On Wings Crossroad Glory on the Sunday. She said that when she was able to the dogs had a go at a few of the many activities and went round the show meeting new people. May did the gundog scurry ran by Nordic Gundogs and Shirley was thrilled to find that a picture of May had been used to advertise their training. Shirley, of course, took the opportunity to get a photo…

Group 1 Stephens; Brightmeadow Rumour Has It (Curly Coated Retriever) Yet another beautiful specimen of the breed from these very clever breeders. Six months dog, and my notes say WOW! He had everything I was looking for in the breed, from nose to tail every inch screamed curly. Beautifully constructed, oozed breed type and was absolutely foot perfect on the move. Having helped campaign a curly to win her 3rd and final CC, they are a breed dear to my heart. This young male is an absolute stunner, and will no doubt have a glowing career. I will watch him with interest.
