Shirley Buchanan & ‘May’ – Fleetpaw First Lady, have successfully passed the British Mantrailing Academy Level 1 Sport Trailer Certificate with Wolf Instincts dog training & behaviour. Shirley said this was despite a flighty start, as May was really excited for some reason, she put this down to Glory having got to do the training the day before. But in the words of the trainer, ‘Methodical May wins today, nice work’.
Shirley & May celebrated by having a walk, and paying a visit for refreshments at Barky Blends Coffee House, which is a Dog-friendly Coffee Shop in Newton Hall, Durham, serving hot & cold food and drink, and dog treats.

1 Cummings, Mrs Jean, Maycourt Island Girl For Breichside. This one-year-old girl oozes quality. She has a correct shaped head with lovely almond shaped dark eyes and good ear placement. Her neck is of good length and shows strength. Well laid shoulder and return of upper arm. Good depth of chest with well sprung ribs, level topline carried well on the move. Movement in profile is super and shows good drive. In good coat. Certainly one with a promising future. BOB
2 Cummings, Mrs Jean, Molokain Enchanted One. Well-shaped head, again with dark eye and good ear placement, Good depth of chest and adequate forechest. Coat is tight crisp curl. Moved ok.

1st Stephens Brightmeadow Rumour Has It JW 2-year-old black male of excellent type & in super condition, could see this dog working all day. Excellent head & dark eye and very good ear carriage. Strong neck siting on excellent front assembly with a well angled long upper arm. Stands on straight columns with correct feet. Very strong topline with good ribbing & excellent fore chest, correct strong hindquarters with a good turn of stifle. Sound coming & going. In movement he retains his shape at all speeds with good reach & drive. Best of Breed & Group 2.

Good outline with strength and bone in proportion. Coat already of excellent quality, tight and even. Moved enthusiastically, soundly and with confidence for his age. One to watch, a youngster full of promise for the future.
