Before you may
show your dog in the UK you must apply for an Authority
To Compete (ATC) number. This number must be quoted on
all entry forms.
ATC application form.
Dogs originally registered in the UK do not need an ATC
number but should use the original UK Kennel Club
registration number in it's place. Dogs originally
registered in the UK who have subsequently gained an
International or National title and who wish to use the
title on UK entries should inform the KC supplying a
copy of the appropriate documentation from the issuing
Kennel Club.
IMPORTANT
NOTE: Overseas exhibitors should pay close attention to
The Kennel Club's Regulations for the Preparation of
Dogs for Exhibition. These are detailed in individual
show schedules or catalogues or from The Kennel Club.
Exhibitors are also asked to carefully read the
definition of classes. For instance, please note that a
Challenge Certificate includes any award that counts
towards the title of Champion under the rules of any
governing body recognised by The Kennel Club. In the
event of doubt we suggest you contact The Kennel Club
for further advice.
